SEY ARTNET was founded by S. Euna Yoo in Seoul in 2007. Her experience in cultural diplomacy with the Korea Foundation (2000-2007) enabled her to develop an extensive professional network in the art world and to become aware of the global community’s growing interest in the Korean art scene.
With a simple thought to become a pioneer in the field of art networking, SEY ARTNET focuses on three areas: offering customized VIP art study tours for international museums, working as a collaborator for prominent museum and gallery exhibitions, and providing art consulting services for private and corporate clients.
The company’s tour program provides special access to nation’s leading museums and galleries, art biennales, private art collections, artists’ studios, and historic sites as well as exclusive networking with the Korean art community by making right connections to the right people. The company’s client list for the art tour comprises internationally renowned museums, such as Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Freer and Sackler Galleries-Smithsonian Institution and the Tate.
Major exhibition projects that SEY ARTNET conducted over the past seven years include Where Clouds Disperse: Ink Paintings by Suh Se-Ok at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the 33rd Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show and Liam Gillick’s first solo exhibition in Seoul: Five Structures and a Shanty.
In 2013, S. Euna Yoo joined the team of Art Basel to serve as the fair’s VIP relations representative for South Korea and has been helping Korean art lovers connect to the global art world.
